Sat, 07/12/2008 - 19:02 — joeIsraeli warplanes have been flying over Iraq and landing at US bases there in preparation for an attack on Iran, Israeli media reported yesterday.
Israeli defense ministry sources said that, for a month, the fighter jets have been practicing at night in Iraqi airspace.
Retired Iraqi army officers in the Anbar region reported that the jets were seen flying from Jordan and landing at an airport near Haditha.
Last month, US sources disclosed that more than 100 Israeli jets and other aircraft took part in practice runs to the eastern Mediterranean Sea that demonstrated Israel's ability to strike a target that far away, the same distance from Israel as Iran.
Kucinich Bringing Back Impeachment This Week
Tue, 07/08/2008 - 21:19 — joeKucinich Bringing Back Impeachment This Week
Keeping true to his word, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) informed his colleagues today that he would bring one article of impeachment against President Bush "for taking our nation and our troops to war based on lies" to the House floor Thursday.
In early June, Kucinich introduced 35 articles of impeachment against Bush and demanded that they be read into the record in full, taking up two nights of House floor time to do so. After the House voted to refer the articles to the Judiciary Committee, Kucinich vowed that he would come back in 30 days with 60 articles of impeachment if no hearings were held.
Act of War: House Resolution Calls for Naval Blockade against Iran
Sun, 06/22/2008 - 21:59 — nadiaA US House of Representatives Resolution effectively requiring a naval blockade on Iran seems fast tracked for passage, gaining co-sponsors at a remarkable speed, but experts say the measures called for in the resolutions amount to an act of war.
H.CON.RES 362 calls on the president to stop all shipments of refined petroleum products from reaching Iran. It also "demands" that the President impose "stringent inspection requirements on all persons, vehicles, ships, planes, trains and cargo entering or departing Iran."
Analysts say that this would require a US naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.

Thu, 06/19/2008 - 09:02 — joeThere was little debate on the floor. According to the Congressional Record, Gramm promised that the amendment—also known as the Commodity Futures Modernization Act—along with other landmark legislation he had authored, would usher in a new era for the U.S. financial services industry....

Thu, 06/12/2008 - 08:38 — joeObama Must Learn From Kucinich's Election Theft Impeachment
Thu, 06/12/2008 - 08:37 — joeCongressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has introduced 35 articles of impeachment against George W. Bush. Two of the articles deal with the fact that Bush was never elected, and in fact stole the election of 2004 in Ohio. They should serve as a cautionary notice to the Obama campaign that this year's election could also be stolen.
Impeachment "Is Already Beginning" An Analysis Of Kucinich's Impeachment Case (Elizabeth Holtzman)
Thu, 06/12/2008 - 08:23 — nadiaThe House should commence an impeachment inquiry forthwith. In fact, in a sense, it is already beginning. Rep. Kucinich introduced the articles, the House has referred them to the Judiciary Committee and the Senate Intelligence Report goes a long way toward furnishing the investigative work Congress needs to do in the course of impeachment, at least as regards the run-up to the war (Congress should also look at other serious abuses of power, including President Bush's refusal to obey duly enacted laws, as evidenced by hundreds of signing statements, his violations of the laws on wiretapping and mistreatment of detainees).

Catch the Terrorists!
Ensure truth seekers are running for office in your state.

For This idea to work we need 50+ volunteers
This is not a personal site- it was made for anti-war Americans to organize to stop the endless war.
Volunteers are needed as internet activists, people that can help spread the word to every anti-war website and blog in America. If they really want to end the war, surely they'll put up a link to this directory that lists true peace candidates nationwide.
We need people to blog about this, write about it, get Naomi Klein, Howard Zinn, Greg Palast and all the other concerned citizens to write about it. We need friends of stars to contact them, free concerts by every anti-war band there is. Are Greenday and Eddie Vedder for real? Then get out there and start playing some free concerts for someone on this list of Peace Candidates!
This is the logical path antiwar America can choose to overcome the mainstream media and take back our country - using the internet to unite all concerned citizens.
It's like in Bug's Life- the top 1% have more than the bottom 90%. They have all the power, but we little ants outnumber them 100 to 1. United, we can win. We need to get everyone on board- peace candidates in every state to end the war. Every antiwar blog needs to post a banner until PeaceCandidates.com is everywhere.
This is not to be self-aggrandizing, but this is the collective action we can take to end the war. Getting a few more democrats in Congress is not good enough. We need real opposition candidates, and it's up to us to find them.
We need your help. Just a few people alone cannot:
So please, antiwar activists- cut your reading in half, and start writing about the Peace Candidates. Wiki the state pages, build this site and spread the notion of regular Americans running for Congress.
What's that? There's too little time- it'll never happen? Well that's to our advantage because they're not ready for us. d- 8
